sub-vision

with live performance flocking to and squeezing into screens during the pandemic, we are pausing to recognize the potentiality of the recorded space the camera produces; not to ignore it by treating it as a window into the theatre or yet another fourth wall. pausing as a conscious act. pausing as a necessary step in the process of imagining something else and realizing a different future for our performative work while public places are locked down. (we don't want to go on like this much longer).
